Chapter 7 – Chương 7

¹Đức Chúa phán cùng ông Noe rằng, “Ngươi và cả nhà ngươi hãy vào tàu, vì Ta thấy ngươi là công chính trước mặt Ta ở thế hệ này.

¹Yahweh said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and all your household, for I see that you are just in this generation.

²Trong các loài vật thanh sạch, hãy đem theo mỗi thứ bảy cặp, đực và cái; còn loài vật không thanh sạch mỗi thứ một cặp, đực và cái.

²Of all the clean animals, you are to take with you seven of each kind, male and female, and a pair of unclean animals, a male and a female.

³Cũng hãy đem theo những chim trời, mỗi thứ bảy cặp, trống và mái, để giữ giống ở trên khắp mặt đất.

³In the same way for the birds of the air, take seven and seven, male and female, to keep their kind alive over all the earth,

⁴Vì còn bảy ngày nữa, Ta sẽ làm mưa xuống mặt đất trong bốn mươi ngày và bốn mươi đêm; Ta sẽ tiêu diệt khỏi mặt đất tất cả các sinh vật Ta đã dựng nên”.

⁴for in seven days I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. I will blot out from the face of the earth all the living creatures I have created.”

⁵Ông Noe đã làm mọi điều như Đức Chúa đã truyền dạy ông.

⁵Noah did all as Yahweh had commanded.

⁶Và ông Noe đã được sáu trăm tuổi khi nạn lụt xảy ra trên mặt đất.

⁶Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters covered the earth.

⁷Vì nước lụt, nên ông Noe cùng vợ, các con trai và các con dâu ông vào tàu.

⁷So Noah went into the ark with his children, his wife and his sons’ wives to escape the waters of the flood.

⁸Các thú vật thanh sạch và không thanh sạch, chim chóc, và loài bò sát trên mặt đất,

⁸Clean animals and also unclean, birds, and all that crawls on the earth went into the ark with Noah;

⁹từng cặp, đực và cái, trống và mái, đều đến cùng Ông Noe mà vào tàu, như lời Thiên Chúa đã truyền cho ông.

⁹they went two and two, male and female, as God had commanded Noah.

¹⁰Sau bảy ngày, nước lụt tràn ngập mặt đất.

¹⁰And after seven days the waters of the flood were over the earth.

¹¹Vào năm sáu trăm của đời ông Noe, trong tháng thứ hai, ngày thứ mười bảy, cùng ngày đó, tất cả các nguồn nước của vực lớn bể ra, và các cửa trời mở ra;

¹¹In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month and on the seventeenth day of the month, all the fountains of the great deep burst forth

¹²Và mưa đổ trên mặt đất trọn bốn mươi ngày bốn mươi đêm.

¹²and there was a downpour on the earth lasting forty days and forty nights.

¹³Cũng trong ngày đó, ông Noe với vợ, ba con trai: Shem, Ham và Giapheth, cùng ba con dâu của ông cùng vào tàu.

¹³On that same day Noah went into the ark, as well as Shem, Ham and Japheth, his sons, and his wife and his daughters-in-law.

¹⁴Họ và các loài, dã thú tùy theo loại, gia súc tùy theo loại, loài bò sát trên mặt đất tùy theo loài, chim tùy theo loại, và tất cả các giống chim,

¹⁴All the animals according to their kind also entered into the ark, all the cattle, all the creeping things that crawl on the earth and all the birds according to their kind; all that flies and everything with wings.

¹⁵đều từng cặp theo ông Noe mà vào tàu; từng cặp một của mọi xác phàm có sinh khí,

¹⁵They came to Noah in the ark, two by two, all creatures that had the breath of life in them.

¹⁶Chúng đều vào tầu, một đực, một cái, một trống một mái, như lời Thiên Chúa đã truyền cho ông. Và Đức Chúa đóng cửa tàu lại.

¹⁶And they that went in were male and female just as God had commanded. Then Yahweh closed the door on Noah.

¹⁷Nước lụt bao phủ mặt đất bốn mươi ngày; nước dâng lên, nâng tàu lên và cất nó khỏi mặt đất.

The Great Flood

¹⁷The flood lasted for forty days on the earth. The waters rose and lifted the ark and raised it above the earth.

¹⁸Trên mặt đất nước lớn và dâng cao mãi; chiếc tàu nổi trên mặt nước.

¹⁸The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.

¹⁹Nước càng dâng lên rất cao trên mặt đất, và tất cả những đồi núi cao ở dưới vòm trời đều bị bao phủ.

¹⁹The water rose more and more above the earth and all the high mountains under the heavens were submerged.

²⁰Nước dâng lên cao hơn các núi mười lăm cubít, tràn ngập tất cả các núi.

²⁰The waters had risen and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet.

²¹Các xác thịt sinh động trên mặt đất, kể cả chim chóc, gia súc, dã thú, loài bò sát, và mọi người đều chết.

²¹Every living thing that moved on the earth died: birds, cattle, animals, everything that swarmed on the earth – and all humankind.

²²Các vật có sinh khí trong lỗ mũi, các vật ở trên đất khô đều chết hết.

²²All on the face of the earth that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.

²³Mọi loài ở trên mặt đất đều bị hủy diệt, từ loài người cho đến loài thú, loài bò sát, cùng loài chim trời, chỉ còn Ông Noe và các loài ở với ông trong tàu còn sống sót mà thôi.

²³Every living being on the face of the earth, humans and animals, and creatures that crawl and the birds of the air were wiped off the earth. Only Noah was left and those that were with him in the ark.

²⁴Nước bao trùm mặt đất một trăm năm mươi ngày.

²⁴The waters flooded the earth for one hundred and fifty days.
